2006 No6 Shiraz


Winemaker’s comments

Deep dark red/plum in colour. Gentle black pepper and spice support lifted redcurrant and raspberry aromas along with subtle darker fruits such as blackcurrant and plums, with a hint of mint.

Medium bodied in structure, the palate displays a balance of regional sweet red fruits, pepper/spice and plush, soft tannins that result in great length and complexity for enjoyment over the next 5+ years.

Ever since the release of the No6 Shiraz Cabernet we have been asked when we'd pair it up with a straight Shiraz.
 
Well here it is.
