1998 Shiraz

This is a full-throttle, massive super concentrated Shiraz. There were only 570 cases of this wine that “modestly” tips the scales at 16% alcohol. The wine shows a dense purple colour and a gorgeous nose of blue and blackberries intermixed with some cherry liqueur.

Full-bodied, opulent with plenty of spice, creosote, pepper and
subtle wood, this wine is impressive, concentrated and already delicious.

Still drinking sensationally!!

“Dark almost black in colour, a muscular
wine packed with blackberry, black pepper
and spice flavours, balanced with juicy
acidity as the flavours roll on and on. Drink
now through 2013.”

This was the first wine ever released by
Brothers in Arms.

Predominantly sold in the US there are a
few loyal Australian punters who found
the 1998 Shiraz before it had all
sailed away from our shores.

Were you one of the lucky ones?
